Aria the Animation: Episode 8

Previously, I looked at President Aria’s actions as being something to look at while others are talking, but this episode solidly presents him with a greater level of intelligence than an ordinary animal would have. It’s surprising that a series with as many info-dumps as Aria the Animation has had wouldn’t have commented on this outright.

With Athena, it’s hard to tell whether she’s extremely spacy, or autistic. If she’s always spaced out, does this mean she really has a lot on her mind all the time, so much so that she often fails to notice things going on around her?

Aria the Animation: Episode 5

The search for “the second beach to the right” gives a good chance to get to know the girls. Akari wonders if it was Peter Pan himself who sent the invitations. Aika hoped for a day of relaxation. Alice figures it may be a plot against them. The latter makes me wonder if she has a mind always unsure of the motives of those around her, or if she really does find herself being looked down upon by the older Undines of the Orange Company, jealous of her ability with an oar at her younger age.

Aria the Animation: Episode 4

Alongside the Undines guiding people over water, and the Salamanders watching over the planet from the skies, there are the flighted Sylphs delivering packages. The four become complete with the Gnomes.
