Petite Princess Yucie: Episode 23 Commentary

To the Fairy World... Light Up Those Five Souls!

Aside from Ercell, the spirit king can also send people between worlds. Must be a trade secret among royalty.

Somehow the weapons of the candidates seem quite fitting. Yucie, the leader, gets a sword. Elmina, the elegant one, uses a bow. Glenda, the strong one, a club. I would imagine Cocoloo with a staff, so a spear is a close match.

Doesn’t the Diablos root crumble a little too easily when Cocoloo gives it a little poke with her spear? Some destroyer of worlds! Although, It’s good to see Cocoloo using her ability to pass through things to her advantage.

What I find more interesting, however, is that Beth and Glenda’s stances for calling the rain appear to be the same. I would expect different worlds to have developed the use of magic in different ways, but these two use the same method for the rain, and the same magic word.

Things really come together, with Arc, Drago, and the stewards all doing their part against Diablos. Drago especially fights well for a dragon his age.

If the heart power the candidates have stored is still in their pendants, then that goes against my theory that it might have been sending directly to the tiara.

With the help of the fairy world residence, Beth should be ready to give it her all as well. Add her father ready to give his life to hold Diablos in one place, and a situation wonderful situation is set up to push candidates to victory.

Thanks to an injury, Arc should be out of commission for what may occur once the Eternal Tiara chooses the Platinum Princess, an event which becomes slightly more ominous.
