Aria Postcards and a Guidebook
Who needs postcards with anime characters/scenes on them? People get by just fine without them, and those who do have them probably don’t do anything with them.
And yet, it’s nice to get some free with a purchase.
Guidebooks are always nice.
Aria arrived in the mail today. Because I spent my evening fixing a nicely infected Windows XP install, I find myself unable to start watching just yet. What I did get to see were the physical special extras that came with Aria.
The first thing to note is the pack of seven “Collector’s Postcards”, which came along with the box set, but not wrapped with it.
Included within the box is the second item, a “Neo-Venezia Guidebook”. I’ll wait until after watching the series to look through it.
Another item is the paper which on the front side avertises the animated series to interest buyers, and on the back side advertises the manga. Me, I call these bookmarks, for my larger comics (such as Scrooge McDuck comics) and books. They’re a touch too large to use as a bookmark for GALS! and other manga.
I love little freebies. It makes buying a series feel all the more special for me.
