		<description>That&#039;s interesting.  I wonder what kind of copy protection they may possibly have on them.  I&#039;d try dd&#039;ing them on a different computer if you haven&#039;t already.  What about using K3b (which may very well be a front end for dd, I really don&#039;t know)?

And, yes, I need to redo the layout of links on this site one of these years, so my &lt;a href=&quot;/about&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;about page&lt;/a&gt; is linked to again.</description>

		<description>Christopher, I cannot find your e-mail anywhere, so here&#039;s a comment. As it turned out, some DVDs cannot be copied as an image. The dd will bail with EIO after about ~760KB. DearS v.1 and Midori no Hibi v.1 are like that, for instance. Copying VOBs from a mounted UDF gives the same error. However, mplayer has no trouble dumping VOBs.</description>
