Back when I was incomeless and therefore unable to buy new DVDs very often, I spent a lot of time with Saint Tail. One of the things I noticed was that Meimi wore outfits in later episodes which she had worn in earlier episodes. In many series, a character always wears the same outfit or never wears the same thing twice (save for their school or work uniform). I decided I’d catalogue the outfits worn, but I never got too far with it. I still have the work done towards is, and I have a screenshot showing a portion of it, but the process I used was simply too time consuming.

While reading Scott VonSchilling’s article on Greg Ayres and the Fight Against Fansubs, something stood out to me. First, I’ll have to say, I agree with Greg Ayres’s views on fansubbing, downloading anime, etc. Read Scott’s piece, and you’ll find he agrees with Ayres, too. Up to a point. Scott writes:

I decided I wanted to try out a different layout. There are still bugs to work out, such as the overflowing text in this post.
If the layout looks broken, that may be due to the old style being loaded from cache. Reloading the page should fix it.
I might have to find a way to make this layout a bit more pink. When working with darker pinks, I always end up with purplish colors, which I don’t care for.
Neon Genesis Evangelion is one of those series I never bothered to watch because it didn’t look like anything interesting to me. I had never actually seen even a single portion of a single episode, nor did I know what it was about, but artworks I had seen made it look to be a futuristic, space-setting, human-piloted mecha-battling series. In other words, 100% not anything I’d be interested in.
